THE DAWN HAS COME.
Years of conflict and terror appear to be coming to an end. The Inquisition works to root out what remains of the Elder Ones forces. The newly appointed Divine Victoria has opened the chantry to all, and freed the mages from the Circle. The groundwork for a lasting peace between Fereldan and Orlais had been laid. The Wardens and Templars seek to rebuild their order, and regain the trust of the people.
Not everyone is pleased with this new era, and there will always be those who seek to further their own ends. Many fear the chaos that could be caused by freed mages. Others are bitter over the power they lost for supporting the wrong side in the Orlesian Civil War. Some distrust the Inquisition, seeing it as a foreign intruder disrupting the balance of power. Pockets of Venatori and Red Templars remain.
